Please be sure your designs meet the requirements outlined in the Designing for DTG Guide. These required parameters are also displayed in the uploader. For any files that are missing these requirements, you will receive a message in the uploader explaining exactly what needs to be modified.
If you continue running into problems uploading there are a couple steps you should try in order to resolve the issue:
1. Clear your cache and make sure you are using the most up to date version of your internet browser (we recommend FireFox or Google Chrome).
2. Make sure you are using a desktop computer and not a mobile phone or tablet.
3. Re-size, re-save, and then re-upload the file.
4. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, then please send us an email at community@teepublic.com.
3. Re-size, re-save, and then re-upload the file.
4. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, then please send us an email at community@teepublic.com.
If you receive a message asking you to enable at least one product, and you have already done that, make sure to select a default color (from the hex code color box) for every product you have enabled. This includes all home goods products you enable, even if they take up the entire surface area.
Another common reason designers have trouble uploading is because the file they upload is too small even though they believe the parameters meet the requirements. The case here usually is that the size is being made up of transparent background. Adding extra transparent space to a file does increase the pixel size in a design program, however as soon as that is transferred over to our uploader, that extra transparency is snipped off and not accounted for. To solve this please remove the extra transparency around the design, and adjust the design size to be the 1500px x 1995px size. You can then scale it in the uploader.
