We have recently become aware of scammers posing as TeePublic employees in order to scam job seekers. These scammers will create fake social media accounts posing as real TeePublic employees, send messages via LinkedIn or other social media sites posing as a recruiter, and set up fake job interviews. The end goal of these scams is to get you to give up sensitive information or even scam you with fake “invoices”. For more information on these kinds of scams please see this document from the United States Federal Trade Commission.
In order to protect yourself, please keep in mind the following:
- You can find TeePublic’s current Job Postings at https://www.teepublic.com/careers. While we may post these jobs on other sites such as LinkedIn or Glassdoor, our Careers page is always the best place to apply for a job posting. If the job is not listed on our site, it is unlikely to be a real job posting.
- TeePublic only conducts phone or video interviews, never via Chat apps or texts.
- If you ever get an email from a TeePublic employee it will only ever come from an “@teepublic.com” email address. All interview requests will come from an @teepublic.com email.
- TeePublic will never ask you for sensitive information or ask you to purchase your own equipment.
- TeePublic will never send a job offer through any means other than from an @teepublic.com email address
