We are very aware of the concerns held by the customers and artists on TeePublic about the novel coronavirus COVID-19, and want to help answer some common questions:
- Where is my order from TeePublic printed?
- Will the delivery timeframe for my order be affected?
- Can I change the address for my order if I can’t receive it at the one I entered at checkout?
- Can I get COVID-19 from a product bought on TeePublic?
- Are there any special measures TeePublic is taking to help prevent the community spread of COVID-19?
Where is my order from TeePublic printed?
TeePublic utilizes a complex fulfillment network to make sure the items from your order are printed and shipped from a third-party printer as close to your shipping address as possible. To learn more about this, please refer to the article Where do the products on the TeePublic marketplace ship from?
Will the delivery timeframe for my order be affected?
While we do provide our best-estimated delivery timeframe for your order, some 3rd-party printers that fulfill orders from artists on TeePublic have been affected by local “Shelter in Place” ordinances resulting in longer production times. Additionally, all carriers have removed guaranteed delivery within a specific timeframe. For the most accurate information regarding deliveries to your area, we recommend checking with your local carriers and/or governments to see if deliveries may be restricted or disrupted, affecting the estimated delivery date for your order.
Can I change the address for my order if I can’t receive it at the one I entered at checkout?
Yes! Please contact support via the form at teepublic.com/contact or by emailing support@teepublic.com and an agent would be happy to assist.
Can I get COVID-19 from a product bought on TeePublic?
We care deeply about the health and safety of all customers and artists on TeePublic, as well as their confidence in the safety of the products sold on TeePublic. We are closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) around the spread of COVID-19:
“In general, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packages that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures .”
-Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (12 March 2020)
“The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.”
-World Health Organization (WHO) (12 March 2020)
As new information is constantly becoming available about the novel coronavirus COVID-19, we encourage you to continue to refer to guidance from reputable organizations like the CDC and WHO for the most up-to-date information.
Are there any special measures TeePublic is taking to help prevent the community spread of COVID-19?
Yes. We are requiring all TeePublic employees to work from home and cancel/postpone any work travel. We are also in contact with the companies that fulfill and ship orders placed on TeePublic to ensure precautions are being taken to help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, the facilities that fulfill TeePublic orders are also working hard to manufacture masks and medical and police gear.
